A bumper breakfast turnout for the first visit from new DG Phillip Charles and his wife Marlene. Great to hear Phil‟s thoughts for the district this year. Lovely to see ADG Ros Kelly again; Ros will be our guest speaker in November. Many congratulations to our newest recruits Robin and Graeme who were inducted by the DG. (Check out next week‟s roster guys!!)

Uncle Bob‟s Bakery was established in 1993 and is a privately owned organisation. Owner Brett Noy, is a multiple industry award winner, Australian Baking Team Member and Team Captain, who grew up in the baking industry with fond memories of working in his parents bakery in the central Queensland town of Barcaldine.
 

 
 
 
An update from one of the international projects that Rotary Carindale has supported following Typhoon Haiyan
 
 
 
 
Carindale Rotary is making a $500 donation to the Rotary Club of Bulawayo South for the purchase of soccer balls for kids.

10 year-old Mac Millar, who spoke to our club last year, has been collecting soccer balls for kids in need.
